ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 27, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- Viewers throughout the USA can now access GOD TV more easily and affordably on the nation's largest satellite platform, DIRECTV. This follows GOD TV's move to DIRECTV's entry-level offering, making its unique mix of Christian programming available to some 20 million subscribers.
GOD TV launched on DIRECTV's base package in 2006 and became a Public Interest Chanel in 2010, available only to High Definition (HD) viewers on an exclusive package. GOD TV is now included with 130 channels on DIRECTV's 'SELECT™' package that costs $24.99 month. The network's 24-hour schedule continues to require HD equipment, which is now standard for new subscribers. GOD TV can be found on Channel 365 of DIRECTV.
"This is good news for millions of viewers across America," said GOD TV's Head of Ministry Development, Dean Seddon. "All new DIRECTV viewers will receive GOD TV, as will all those who upgrade to High Definition equipment. This is a significant increase in our US reach, enabling us to impact more homes with life-changing programming."
GOD TV is also available via cable and digital terrestrial transmission in some US cities and on the Internet (Roku / iPhone and god.tv). The GOD TV iOS App can be downloaded from the App Store.
