WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Chuck Colson, one of America’s most recognized Christian statesmen and founder of Prison Fellowship, will be the special guest on the nationally syndicated daily radio program “Jay Sekulow Live!” Wednesday, August 23rd, at 12:00 Noon EST. Colson will discuss the recent federal court ruling ordering the closure of Iowa’s Inner-Change Freedom Initiative (IFI) program, the successful faith-based mentorship and training program launched by Prison Fellowship in 1997.

On June 2nd a federal district court judge ruled that the IFI program in Iowa is unconstitutional because it violates the separation of church and state. Prison Fellowship and IFI are in the process of appeal the ruling, and have committed to taking their fight all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.
