PLANO, Texas, Aug. 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- Online for Life, a breakthrough Internet outreach, has directly helped save 7 babies from abortion in just its first 11 weeks of operation.
"It gives me unbelievable joy," said Brian Fisher, president of Media Revolution Ministries, the home of Online for Life. "I would have been thrilled if we'd saved even one life since going 'live' on May 21st. But to reach 7 vulnerable women, change their minds about abortion, and save their babies tells me that God is opening the floodgates!"
The grassroots, donor-supported non-profit uses breakthrough Internet strategies to intercept pregnant women and direct them to a hometown pregnancy resource center for a free sonogram.
"When an abortion-minded woman sees her baby, extended research indicates there is a 90 percent probability she will change her mind and choose life," Fisher said.
The outreach literally breaks the stranglehold the lavishly financed abortion industry has on Internet search results. There are millions of abortion-related Internet searches monthly. Almost all return only links to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.
Online for Life now ensures that messages from allied pro-life resource centers appear prominently in abortion-search results. It also provides its partner centers with a confidential website so abortion-minded women can link directly from the search results to schedule an appointment for a sonogram.
Because all activity leading up to the appointment is conducted on the Internet, Online for Life can track everything from the number of times a pro-life message appears in abortion-search results to the number of contacts made with its partner centers.
The centers also update the outreach regularly on how many appointments are made as a result of the search-result message, how many sonograms are performed, and ultimately how many lives are saved.
"It is absolutely crucial that we maintain complete transparency and accountability. We want to assure our supporters that every cent we receive is verifiably saving innocent human lives," Fisher said.
Fisher and Tim Kachuriak developed Online for Life in conjunction with KMA Direct Communications, a Kingdom-directed multi-channel donor relations agency based in Plano, Texas. Online for Life is an outreach of Media Revolution Ministries, a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) corporation.
