BRANSON, Mo., May 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new ministry to men hits the national stage this summer. "Men at the Cross," (MATC) founded by author, speaker and Christian camp director Joe White, will bring one-day and two-day men's conferences to arenas across America, aimed at equipping men to disciple other men in the Christian faith and lead their homes and communities through service. Men at the Cross events will include practical Christian instruction, as well as inspirational speaking and live worship music.

"Men at the Cross is so much more than a mountaintop experience," said Joe White, founder of Men at the Cross. "Every man who comes into the arena will be equipped to mentor and train another man with a Bible study manual that we're going to provide. Our aim is to come alongside the local church by empowering men to become disciple-makers for a lifetime. We're inviting men to join other radically committed men in this movement of passion and service."

The theme verse of Men at the Cross comes from the Apostle Paul's famous charge to his protégé in Second Timothy 2:2, "The things you've heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." According to Joe White, "the heartbeat of Men at the Cross is empowering men to reach men, to love a man to Jesus until he is ready to love a man to Jesus."

Background
Joe White's heart for men has been shaped by thirty years of men's ministry and speaking to hundreds of thousands of men world-wide. Joe has also founded ministries for city evangelism, service, missions, college students, and most of all, his family.
