MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- Kingdom Racing announced today that driver Davey Hamilton will race in three IZOD IndyCar races in 2010. Hamilton and Kingdom Racing have agreed with Luzco Dragon Racing to enter the Indianapolis 500, the Bombardier Learjet 550 at Texas Motor Speedway and another oval race.
"We are really pleased to be with Davey for a third consecutive Indianapolis 500, especially with a first class caliber team that is Luzco Dragon Racing," founder George Del Canto said. "I am really looking forward to the opportunity to work with the Luzco Dragon team," Hamilton said. "They have proven in a short time that they have what it takes to be competitive, and I believe this is a great opportunity for me to put a strong showing at the Indy 500." Hamilton's racing career almost ended on June 9, 2001 following a devastating crash at the Texas Motor Speedway. This year will be the first time Hamilton will return to race again at the Texas Motor Speedway after his accident. Hamilton's strong faith and determination to once again race in the 500 was instrumental in securing a partnership with Kingdom Racing. "This will be a special blessing to be with Davey this year as he competes in the Texas race," Del Canto said.
