Non-Profit Announces Jerry Smith as Director of GospelShoe

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., October 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- Brentwood-based charity GospelShoe(tm), a shoe that spreads the gospel without words while also providing relief to hurting people around the world, announced today that they have officially launched the new product line of GospelShoe flip-flops and GospelShoe clogs. In addition, the new non-profit announces Jerry Smith as the Director of the Evangelical Missionary Division.
GospelShoe is an educational and fundraising product developed and designed to assist churches in teaching two compelling motivations: humanitarian effort and the desire to spread the gospel. By combining the practical offering of a shoe with the spiritual emphasis of the Wordless Book, GospelShoe allows individuals, churches and mission organizations to impact people everywhere with the message of eternal hope and life.
In addition to the official launch of the GospelShoe products, the charity is pleased to announce that Jerry Smith, B.S., M.Div., D.D., has joined as the non-profit as the Director of the Evangelical Missionary Division.
Jerry Smith received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor, president of two non-profit organizations, a board member of a Native American Mission organization, a television host, host of his own radio program, as well as a motivational speaker.
In addition, Jerry is the author of various books, newspaper articles, and seminars. His research has produced material in the areas of disciple training, small group organization, and theology. He has received numerous commendations for volunteer foreign mission work. In 2001 he was awarded a Pastor of the Year Award for North America and Canada. Throughout his career, Jerry has spoken to over 5,000 different audiences in the United States and around the world since 1973.
