Voigt Leverages Career Counseling Background to Expand Career Program

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 7, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Crossroads Career® Network, a national community of churches providing faith-based, job search and career transition resources, recently hired Suzanne Voigt as its Member Services and Project Coordinator.

Voigt joins Crossroads Career Network to help meet the needs of member churches, schools, coaches and counselors, as well as improving programs and materials. Her first project is to help coordinate the development of "Maximize Your Career" workbook, course and resources for high school and college students to find jobs, careers and God's calling.

Voigt most recently held two internships with educational institutions that enabled her to counsel college and high school students. She concentrated her efforts on occupational assessments and vocation and career planning, as well as providing resume and cover letter critiques. Voigt also possesses elementary school academic counseling experience where she focused on students' overall academic, social and emotional development. She holds a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Liberty University.
