LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- William Seymour award will be given to Pastor Robert Kayanja and Dr. Cecil M. Robeck at the Azusafest celebration in Los Angeles on April 5-7, 2019.

Robert Kayanja is the Senior Pastor of Kampala's 10,500 seat Miracle Centre Cathedral; He is also the founder of the Miracle Centre Churches. He has traveled round the globe and has been to over 54 nations spreading the good news gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently he is leading a 2 1/2 year revival called 77 days of Glory in Kampala, Uganda on the grounds of his church. Visitors are coming from around the world to see the everyday Miracle Center revival which is sweeping thousands of Muslims and locals into the kingdom of God. Miracles, signs and wonders of every kind are happening on the grounds of the Miracle Centre church.

Cecil M. Robeck, who has worked at Fuller Seminary since 1974, is senior professor of church history and ecumenics and special assistant to the president for ecumenical relations. His recent historical research centers on the Azusa Street Mission and Revival and its African American pastor William Seymour. His recent publications in the field of ecumenics have focused on the Holy Spirit, the Church, unity in the Pentecostal perspective, and potential contributions the Pentecostal movement can make to the world Christian movement. An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, Robeck has also worked on ecumenical issues for 35 years. Robeck is author of over 250 articles as well as The Azusa Street Mission and Revival: The Birth of the Global Pentecostal Movement.
