FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 30, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Board of D. James Kennedy Ministries (DJKM) unanimously chose Mrs. Jennifer Kennedy Cassidy to serve as the new Board Chair on May 12. Mrs. Cassidy, the daughter of Dr. D. James Kennedy and his wife Anne, will replace William T. Allen, CPA, who is stepping down from his role as Board Chair after six years, and will continue to serve on the Board.

"I am delighted at this opportunity to serve in this new capacity," said Mrs. Cassidy. "My father, D. James Kennedy, founded this ministry to reach the nation and world with the gospel, and to equip believers to apply the truths of Scripture to all of life. Outgoing Chairman William T. Allen, CPA, agreed with and endorsed the change. He will continue serving as Chairman, Audit Committee, which he has done since becoming a member of the Board in 2004.
