WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- The White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will host a Roundtable on Corporate Citizenship on Wednesday, November 7 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The event will feature White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Director, Jay Hein, as well as Henrietta H. Fore, Acting Administrator, U.S. Agency for International Development, and Sandy H. Baruah, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development, U.S. Department of Commerce, and corporate executives.
The Roundtable will examine the efforts of corporations of all sizes to invest in their communities and serve those most in need. The gathering will bring together Corporate Citizenship Award finalists from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Business Civic Leadership Center, business executives and government officials to examine top American models of businesses that build up neighborhoods and address need both domestically and internationally.
