Christian Newswire/ -- On November 5-6, Kingdom Racing will conclude its 2016 activity at the U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship to be held at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) race track in Austin, Texas. COTA is the site of the U.S. Formula 1 Grand Prix and will host the Vintage Racing National Championship for the 4th consecutive year. Vintage race competitors from around the world come to race at this historic track – all hoping to go home with the coveted golden Bell Racing National Champion helmet. Kingdom Racing was invited to compete in this championship following its 1st and 2nd place finishes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in June. "This is a wonderful way to conclude our 2016 season and we hope to provide our guests with a lifelong experience," said George Del Canto, Kingdom Racing's Founder - who will be piloting the #33 1969 Mustang in the Trans Am races.
Kingdom Racing will also be hosting Miles of Smiles groups from several YMCA of Austin branches at the track during the weekend. "At the YMCA of Austin, we strive to make new, life-enriching experiences available to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status," said James Finck, YMCA of Austin President and CEO. "By teaming with Kingdom Racing for the Miles of Smiles event, we're helping these families experience the unique thrill of motorsports with VIP access."
