KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 12, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- The new music video "Plead Their Case," released on Vevo/YouTube (see link below) on March 8 emphasizes the plight of a woman considering whether or not to take the chemical abortion drug protocol (mifepristone/misoprostol). Her pondering is juxtaposed with a Supreme Court justice laboring over his ruling on the chemical abortion pill. Luminate Pictures LLC videographer and singer/songwriter Jonathan Baldwin has joined forces with musician Richard Town II, singer/songwriter Audra Lynn, The Moral Outcry National Petition Movement and The Justice Foundation. Together they are bringing awareness of the horrors, injury and/or emergency room visits caused by the FDA approval of the reckless and wide-open distribution of this chemical abortion pill.
The U.S. Supreme Court is considering The Justice Foundation's brief on behalf of 2,743 Women Injured by Abortion in preparation for the chemical abortion pill hearing on March 26. This brief references thousands of accounts of women who have experienced severe emotional trauma, physical pain, and/or injuries that required emergency room doctors' urgent care. Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June of 2022, the chemical abortion drug pills have grown to be used in over half of the abortions in the United States.
This video was shot in the Old Supreme Courtroom in the Kansas State Capitol in Topeka where Brown v. Board of Education - the case that ended racially-segregated education originated. Now this historic site is being used to influence the ending of abortion in America. The lyrics cry out for justice with God's current message to the United States leaders in song, How long will you judge unjustly, ruling in favor of the wicked? – alluding to Psalm 82.
Jonathan Baldwin, the main creative leader of this project, leads worship at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. Baldwin has funneled his creativity into writing and producing several other songs entitled "Mighty Warrior," "Where is the Moral Outcry?" (a nod to Judge Scalia's quote), and "Voiceless" (inspired on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, regarding the unborn).
In 2004, Baldwin responded to an invitation from co-founder of "The Call" Lou Engle to be an intercessory worship leader with him for 50 Days for the 50 States. That year's event culminated with a "Silent Prayer Siege" at the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. to protest abortion, and Baldwin's been passionate about it ever since.
The Moral Outcry National Petition Movement is collecting signatures at www.TheMoralOutcry.com to end abortion in all 50 states. OperationOutcry.org emerged to help women suffering from abortions with a helpline, counseling, healing, and to express the pain of their abortions.
The Justice Foundation, founded in 1993, seeks to protect the fundamental freedoms and rights essential to the preservation of American society by providing free legal services in landmark cases.
