Open Invite for Media Vetting of Canadian Developer Fraud Charges Involving Children's 'Wish' Charity
WishCruise Navy CEO Invites Media Investigation and Fact Vetting of Lawsuit Charging Canadian Property Developers Theresa Keeping and Dale Merkel with Fraud and Unlawful Use of Children's "Wish" Charity Funding
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., June 17, 2013 /
Christian Newswire/ -- WishCruise Navy CEO and Capt. Chuck Foster submits the following and is available for comment:
I believe each and every allegation is fully substantiated by corroborating facts and physical evidence. Unfortunately, to prevail in the recently filed lawsuit, or criminally charge Canadian developers Theresa Keeping and Dale Merkel with fraud, conspiracy and other statutory violations is problematic when their Canadian presence and residency is shamefully used as a shield from civil and possible criminal prosecution.
Given the seriousness of these charges, and because Keeping and Merkel's unlawful conduct now threatens the future existence of a children's "wish" charity and related "at-risk" youth programs, I respectfully invite Canadian and U.S. news media to take a proactive, concerned interest in this story, determine its newsworthiness, then investigate, confront, challenge, allow input from relevant parties, evaluate, and report on whatever findings may result.
With the help of Tyler Barnett Public Relations, a news release was created to announce that a lawsuit had been filed and provide a brief summary of the alleged charges. This release was subsequently circulated on June 4th by Canada Newswire, PR News Wire and Yahoo to media contacts throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Now, on behalf of myself, WishCruise Navy, and the countless number of children and teens who may not be able to enjoy and benefit from WishCruise Navy programs, I'm offering to appear (and I invite Ms. Keeping and Mr. Merkel to join me) for questioning by Canadian and U.S. news media regarding my accusations.
Anticipating the question, my acknowledged motivation for doing this is to facilitate an expedited disposition of this matter, be it by mutually cooperative settlement or Court mandated dismissal.
