CHICAGO, Sept. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- It took LaRichelle Dillard 15 years to write her inspirational book of only 68 pages, What's Love Got to do with it...Everything!: An Inspirational Step by Step Guide for Everyone (published by AuthorHouse), but she claims "It took me this long to understand God's unconditional, agape love!"

She was prompted to write the book after seeing a need for literature focusing on the powerful force of God's love rather than fear tactics. "I saw outreach tracks faced with pictures of skeletons or implications about whether or not we're going to heaven or hell," said Dillard. "I was concerned about the spiritual damage that messages like these might cause in the lives of others."

What's Love got to do with it...Everything! is a systematic approach to living a life filled with daily expressions of unconditional love towards others. The book includes simple directions to understanding God's love and letting His love infiltrate every aspect of life, arranged by "pulling," "dragging" and "attracting." Dillard intersperses scripture, explanations and real-life examples to emphasize points. Dillard writes:

Agape describes a love that is based on the deliberate choice of the one who loves rather than on the worthiness of the one who is loved. This kind of love goes against our human inclinations. It is a selfless, giving, expecting nothing in return kind of love. It is a godly love that can only be attained through a heart totally consumed by God.
