AUBURN, New Hampshire, Jan. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- National Clergy Council president, the Reverend Rob Schenck (pronounced SHANK), will travel Sunday from Washington, DC, to Manchester, New Hampshire to participate in a prayer service Sunday evening for presidential candidates and to meet with evangelical leaders in the state. Schenck was in Iowa this past week to talk with church leaders there as the caucuses were underway.
Schenck, who is president of the conservative National Clergy Council, also serves as chairman of the Committee on Church and Society for the Evangelical Church Alliance, America's oldest association of evangelical clergy. He will be available for comment while in New Hampshire Sunday, January 6 and Monday, January 7, on the role of evangelicals in Iowa, New Hampshire and throughout the presidential race.
