WASHINGTON, March 25, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- Tepeyac Family Center, LLC, a pro-life OB/GYN medical practice, celebrates its 20th anniversary of serving women in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.
We recognize when Dr. John Bruchalski first opened Tepeyac's doors in Fairfax, VA. During the first 8 office days, from February 25 - March 25, 1994, Dr. Bruchalski provided medical services to 17 new obstetrics patients, 9 return obstetrics patients, 25 gynecology patients, 2 patients receiving Medicare insurance, delivered 1 baby, treated 1 emergency patient, performed 2 office procedures, had 4 patients who paid what they could for medical services, and met with 3 patients for infertility.
Today, Tepeyac Family Center, LLC has 5 full-time, OB/GYN medical doctors, 1 certified physician assistant, nursing and medical assistant staff, a sonographer and an in-house laboratory technician -- who together treat 50-70 patients per day in the Fairfax, VA office.
Tepeyac offers a full range of life-affirming OB/GYN care, including well-woman care and cancer screenings, natural fertility consultation, obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, level I, II and pelvic ultrasounds, a perinatal hospice, holistic medicine, and most recently adolescent medicine!
Tepeyac practices excellent and merciful medicine to all, and remains committed to seeing the poor. Because of your generosity, in 2013, Tepeyac treated 31 women enrolled in our MERCY financial aid program -- 20 of the 31 women in need received 100% financial aid. By comparison, in 2012, 12 of our MERCY patients received 100% financial aid.
