Many teenagers who are about to exit the system (kids who were abused and neglected and were a ward of the Court) are terrified and scared to go out into the world alone and be independent. There is a whole world out there waiting for them with no one to hold their hands or a family to go back to at the end of the day. CCAAFP plan and strategy will be to help these teenagers with accommodation in transitional housing and find foster parents who are dedicated and willing to foster and adopt teenagers.
