NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 4 /Christian Newswire/ -- LifeWay Christian Resources will hold its annual National Youth Workers Conference Sept. 13-15 in Nashville, Tenn. The three-day event is designed to provide inspiration and encouragement to youth workers, as well as give them practical ideas for enhancing their ministry to students. This year's conference focuses on developing mission-minded students.
The conference fee is $99 until July 1 and increases to $125 after that date. Student ministers, student ministry staff and volunteer leaders are invited to attend.
In addition to plenary sessions and nearly 20 breakouts covering a wide range of student development topics, LifeWay's True Love Waits ministry will launch True Love Waits 3.0: A Path of Purity. This new emphasis builds off True Love Waits' sexual abstinence-until-marriage message to include a variety of markers students experience from childhood to young adulthood.
Resources supporting True Love Waits 3.0 will guide parents and church leaders to take advantage of these markers and treat them as teachable moments on purity. For more information about True Love Waits, visit www.truelovewaits.com.
