WASHINGTON, May 20, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- The 250,000+ members of LegacyNationUSA have initiated a petition that will be sent to President Barack Obama urging him to declare September 11, 2011 as Legacy Day USA in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks against the United States ten years ago.
Tom McQueen, Founder of LegacyNationUSA said, "We're urging citizens throughout America to sign our petition. Not only do we want the President to declare September 11 this year as Legacy Day USA, but we would like every September 11 to be a time when we not only remember those who lost their lives on that fateful day, but that we designate September 11 every year as a time when we renew our commitment to strengthen the legacy that we will leave to our children and grandchildren."
