POWDER SPRINGS, Georgia, Aug. 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- Trinity Chapel in Powder Springs, Georgia will conduct two 25th Anniversary Celebration Services on Sunday, September 7th at 9:00 am and 11:15 am. The theme for September 7th will be "Celebrating 25 Years: Leaving a Legacy of Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness." The celebration will include special video presentations, exhibits, and a commemorative booklet that will be distributed to each family. Several special guests will be in attendance, including Cobb County Commissioner Sam Olens, Mayor Pat Vaughn of Powder Springs, and Dr. Steven Land who is the president of the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.

On September 11th, 1983 Trinity Chapel began in a small storefront building in Austell, Georgia with a message of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. In 1998, after years of growth in the congregation forced them to relocate, the church purchased 30 acres of land on Macland Road and moved into a 1,500 seat sanctuary. Today, Trinity Chapel's campus on Macland Road occupies over 60 acres of land and has a 4,000 seat sanctuary that houses the Sunday morning services. Each Sunday, over 7,000 people attend Trinity Chapel's worship services in addition to the thousands of people around the world who watch via a live webcast. The Senior Pastor, Bishop Jim Bolin, started the church and has remained the Senior Pastor the entire 25 years. Outreach magazine recently listed Trinity Chapel as one of the fastest growing and largest churches in the US.
