BRANSON, Missouri, Feb. 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction in Branson, Missouri is pleased to debut its new 2007 season on Friday, March 2nd. Dozens of new and returning cast members, six tons of real American bison, 32 magnificent horses and a grand patriotic finale promise to deliver thrills and family entertainment nightly.
Kicking off the 2007 season is World Record Sport Juggler, Albert Lucas. One of the greatest sport jugglers working today, he returns as feature performer in the Carriage Room Show, an hour prior to the main arena Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show nightly.
Lucas holds a number of world titles in the sport of juggling, among them the official record for being the only person to flash 13 rings. He also held the record for the longest 10 ring juggle, and is the first person to have qualified 10 objects in competition. He holds numerous world records in the sport of joggling (juggling while jogging), including the 400 meter hurdles record, and is the only person to have performed at both the NBA Finals and the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.
"At my Dixie Stampede, we strive to make every part of your experience fun and exciting, from the Carriage Room Show right through the big dinner and show and the patriotic finale," said Dolly Parton, owner. "Each show salutes our military with a thank you for their service and a special song I wrote to express how I feel about being part of this great nation."
Dolly's grand patriotic finale features her original song, "Color Me America", choreographed to beautiful formations of riders and horses. At the spectacular finish, 50 white doves of peace are released in tribute to our freedom.
Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is actually two shows in one: a unique Carriage Room comedy and juggling pre-show as well as a full-scale arena spectacular featuring 32 magnificent horses, "Stampede of the Buffalos", racing ostriches, "Dreams Take Flight" aerial spectacular, as well as dozens of riders, singers, and dancers. Renowned as "Branson's Most Fun Place to Eat," the audience is divided into two sides for a friendly North/South competition while guests enjoy a hearty, mouth-watering four-course feast handed out in generous portions by dozens of costumed servers.
