AUSTIN, Texas, July 2, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Passing Senate Bill 1 and House Bill 2 would mark an historic step toward protecting Texas women," said Elizabeth Graham, Director of Texas Right to Life.

Graham asked, "What is the abortion industry hiding that they do not want exposed? Why shouldn't abortion clinics be subject to the same health care standards and safety measures as other health care providers? Texas women should be very wary of any medical clinic, abortion or otherwise, that does not have admitting privileges at a local hospital.

 

"The abortion mob does not represent the best interests of Texas women. The bills before the Texas legislature require abortion clinics to meet the same standards as other health care facilities. The fact that they oppose new protections for women merely demonstrates that the abortion industry is more interested in their extreme agenda and their financial bottom line than in women's safety."
