This includes a number of special Christmas broadcasts and there will be several LIVE events, as 2009 comes to a close, to help prepare the GOD TV family for the New Year ahead.
Christmas Eve includes a carol service with UK evangelist, J John and a Celebration of Hope from San Francisco with Argentine evangelist, Carlos Annacondia. GOD TV co-founder, Wendy Alec also presents 'A Word from Heaven' bringing encouragement to those who face the festive season alone or who are struggling with depression.
On Christmas Day viewers can watch a Behind the Screens Christmas/ New Year Special with GOD TV founders, Rory & Wendy Alec as well as their intriguing series, 'Apocalypse and the End Times'. Bishop TD Jakes is featured at the Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia and viewers can watch two films produced by evangelist Reinhard Bonnnke – 'Living in the Miraculous' and 'The Man is the Message.'
A highlight of GOD TV's holiday programming is 'Delirious? Night' on December 27. The UK rock legends disbanded in November after a decade of impacting the globe with their music and GOD TV is the only broadcaster to air their final concert. GOD TV viewers have also been voting for their favorite Delirious song of all time and the results will be announced in a Top 10 Video countdown. Hosted by GOD TV's youth presenters Emma Owen and Chip-K, Derlirious? Night includes an exclusive final interview with the band and the not to be missed spectacular farewell concert.
The International House of Prayer's 'one thing 2009' conference airs LIVE from Kansas City with Mike Bickle on December 28, 29 and 30 and the MorningStar New Year's Conference with Rick Joyner will be broadcast LIVE on December 29 and 30. On New Year's Eve viewers can watch Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo's Watchnight Service LIVE from KICC in London, one of the UK's largest churches, as well as the spectacular Liberty Winterfest LIVE from Virginia, USA with bands such as Skillet and MercyMe.
A highlight of New Year's Day on GOD TV is the Basement's New Year Bash LIVE from Birmingham, Alabama with Matt Pitt. Entitled 'A New Year, A New You' this event is dedicated to bringing in the New Year sold out to God, celebrating 2009, and looking ahead in faith to 2010. Viewers can also watch the Big Church Day Out Extra, presented by the BBC's Diane-Louise Jordan, which features exclusive interviews with Michael W Smith, Israel Houghton and Delirious? and excerpts from their performances.
Viewers can tune in from early January for the IHOP-KC Renewal LIVE with Mike Bickle. This began as a student awakening and is now touching many more lives.
GOD TV's End Time Season continues throughout the holidays and into 2010 bringing more films, documentaries and conferences focused on Bible Prophecy and how it mirrors events in the world today. This includes input from experts such as Chuck Missler, Tim LaHaye, Mark Hitchcock, Grant Jeffrey, Paul McGuire, Mike Bickle and Barry Smith.
