SUNYANI, Ghana, Nov. 18, 2016 /
Christian Newswire/ -- Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and Peter Vandenberg of Christ for all Nations (CfaN), recently completed a four-day crusade in Sunyani, Ghana. Upon arrival, the CfaN team was received by large crowds, members of the media, local authorities, and even the traditional king. The first night of the crusade held a large attendance. The interpreter commented to Evangelist Kolenda that he had never before seen so many people in one crowd, but the mass numbers did not stop the work of God in individual lives. Paralytics were healed, crutches were thrown away, and a man who had previously been unable to stand was healed.
The second night of the crusade showed a significant 250% increase in attendance from the night before! Evangelist Kolenda, in speaking about the second night of the crusade, stated, "The power of God is touching the whole region, and multitudes are flocking to the crusade ground to experience it for themselves." Testimony after testimony rolled toward the stage as broken bones were mended, growths disappeared, and cripples walked. However, each day of the crusade brought more miraculous stories of hope and healing.
One man who had been an armed robber testified that he received Christ at a previous Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade in Ghana. He had suffered a leg and neck injury from his delinquent days during a robbery, and he carried this in his body for years. On the second night of the crusade, however, Jesus completely healed him! He waited to see if it was real. On the third night, he testified that all the pain was gone. He now has full mobility in his body! While several miracles took place each night of the crusade, "the greatest miracle," Evangelist Kolenda commented, "is the tens of thousands that have surrendered their lives to Jesus. Sunyani will never be the same again."
The population of Sunyani itself is less than 250,000 people total, but the final night of the crusade boasted an attendance of an impressive 220,000 people. The crusade itself came to Ghana at a critical time for the country as the presidential election in Ghana is upcoming.
Evangelist Kolenda asks, as always, for continued prayer as they pursue their efforts to see Africa saved. In addition to prayer, if you would like to become a valued partner of Christ for all Nations, please visit
