MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian fiction author, Davis Bunn, will be the guest speaker at the annual Christian Library International Author-Dinner fundraiser on Thursday, October 11th at 7 PM. This special event will be held at the Crabtree Marriott hotel, on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC. Tickets are $39 which includes dinner and may be purchased online at www.cli-nc.org/.

Before becoming a full-time novelist, Davis Bunn was director of an international business advisory group based in Dusseldorf, West Germany that operated in eleven countries. Raised in North Carolina, he left the United States after completing his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest. He first took a Masters in international economics and finance in London, and then began assignments that took him to more than thirty countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Since his first book, The Presence, was released in 1990, Davis has had more than nineteen national bestsellers. His books have sold in excess of six million copies in sixteen languages. The seven books Davis co-authored with Janette Oke have sold almost two million copies. Three of these titles were the number one Christian Booksellers Association fiction bestseller for the year.
Davis currently serves as Writer in Residence at Regent's Park College, Oxford University. He is also an avid surfer and spends several months in Florida every year.
