MEDIA ADVISORY, June 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- Nationally known pro-life spokesman and missionary to top government officials in Washington, DC, Rev. Rob Schenck, will speak this week to thousands of young people at the huge Creation music festival at the Agape Farm outside Mount Union, Pennsylvania. Rob has been a frequent guest at the four-day event over the last 20 years. This year's program begins Wednesday afternoon, June 25 and runs through Sunday morning, June 29.
"Creation has always been a highlight for me," said Rob. "Few places pack so much spiritual energy into such a compact period of time. The kids and adults who attend Creation get their spiritual batteries recharged while they also have a lot of fun. Hundreds will come to Christ, renew their Christian commitments and experience a deeper sense of calling on their lives."
Rob's talk this year is from Psalm 139 and is entitled, "Juno's Moment: It Has Fingernails." The title refers to the enormously popular youth film, "Juno," starring Ellen Page, about a pregnant 16-year old who decides not to have an abortion and instead adopt out her baby. Rob speaks at 3:00 PM on the last full day of the festival, Saturday, June 28, in the Woods II natural amphitheater.
Rob will also host a live Internet radio broadcast each day of the festival from his artist's booth in the exhibit center. The broadcast will include spontaneous interviews with young people about subjects ranging from their attitudes about church to the presidential campaign. It can be heard on National Pro-Life Radio.net (www.nplr.net)
More than 50,000 are expected to attend this year's Creation Northeast. There is still time for groups and individuals to register for the full four days or for only the Saturday Rob speaks. To register or for more information visit www.creationfest.com.
