On Friday, Dec. 24 at 8 pm, the channel will broadcast Tim Janis' The American Christmas Carol followed by Larnelle Harris Christmas at 9 pm ET. On Saturday, Dec. 25, the lineup includes a variety of Christmas-themed programs from morning to evening including kids' shows, documentaries and music programs. The American Christmas Carol, a moving one-hour presentation from acclaimed composer and conductor Tim Janis, includes both traditional carols and contemporary Christmas songs composed by Janis that celebrate God's love demonstrated through the birth of Jesus. The program features performances by Janis' ensemble, Paul Baloche, Jadon Lavik, Shannon Wexeburg, Lynn Whitty, and a fifty-member choir. Viewers will also learn about the authors of and stories behind well-known carols. The American Christmas Carol airs on Friday, Dec. 24 at 8 pm ET.
Following Tim Janis at 9 pm ET is Larnelle Harris Christmas, an inspiring program from the award-winning recording artist. With five Grammy Awards, eleven Dove Awards, a Stellar Award and countless top 10 hits, Harris is one of Christian music's most beloved artists. The Christmas performance features beautiful arrangements of classic songs of the season.
