Truli to Launch First Comprehensive Site for Christian Media and Social Interaction
NASHVILLE, Feb. 20, 2012 /
Christian Newswire/ -- Truli will soon open the door to a wide variety of Christian spiritual and educational insights with entertainment elements – including sermons, music, concerts, movies, comedy and internet/TV programs – all within a trusted, secure and interactive online community brought together by a shared belief. Truli is a social network and content distribution platform for people to experience and interact with Christian multimedia in a way unlike anything offered for the Christian community today.
Leading up to the launch this summer, Truli is inviting ministries, musicians and film distributors to become part of the Truli experience now. In addition, Truli is inviting users to be a part of the pre-release testing in order to provide feedback prior to the public launch.
Truli will provide ministries, musicians and other content providers with a free distribution and content management platform. Upon signing with Truli, musicians, artists, teachers, ministries and film distributors will be able to start uploading their content into a pre-release version of the website. This content will then be accessible for early subscribers. The early content providers and subscribers will be able to give direct feedback and help shape the final user interface and experience.
"The vision of Truli is to deliver relevant content offered from many perspectives, so that no matter where you're coming from or where you'd like to go, you can interact with the content that you need, when you need it, and from a prospective that speaks to you. We are excited to create a place where anyone can not only find relevant content, but then have a conversation with others and directly ask questions of an artist or ministry," said CEO Michael Jay Solomon.
"In a world where we have on demand access to everything, I know that the Christian community is ready to have the access to a wide variety of Christian multimedia." said CFO Don Murray. "Likewise, our search features allows you to search across different types of media and even enter a word or phrase and go directly to the place you're looking for within a video. You can then create clips that you can share in your own social networks."
Truli For Ministries
Truli is designed to help ministries and artists spread their messages beyond their immediate community and be accessible to people throughout the world.
"Our approach is both global and mobile. With real-time streaming of sermons, worship services, or youth camp meetings, a ministry can share messages and experiences with people around the globe. Furthermore, Truli gives the ability for unlimited archives of material, which can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and on any device," said Solomon.
Truli will share revenues generated from subscription sales with ministries and provide ministries with a wider audience from which to gain financial support. Truli will have an option for ministries to ask for donations as a direct response by the viewer/listener. In addition, Truli offers and extends ministries' e-commerce with the ability to offer items for sale, such as ministry/pastors' books, tapes, teaching series and more to an extended audience.
With the announcement of the upcoming launch, Truli anticipates hundreds of new ministry and artists to create a broad Truli experience. Ministries and artists that have already become a part of the Truli experience include Angela Blair, Tisha Strattford, Benny Perez / Church of South Las Vegas, Pastor Cash Luna, Andre & Jenny, beremedy, BigStuf Camps, Lanny Donoho (BigStuf), Bay Area Fellowship, New Ministry Partners, Fresh Anointing House of Worship (Kyle Searcy), Time of Grace Ministry, Righteous Insanity, B-U Entertainment, LAF Productions, Marriage Today, and more.
