FORT WASHINGTON, Md., June 13, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- For over three years DoersTV.com, the largest free Christian Internet TV Network in the world, has provided free airtime to churches, with stipulations some consider controversial.
Stipulations such as; no self-promotion or self-indulgence by TV Evangelist, no begging viewers for money, and what some people find appealing or judgmental -- DoersTV's Standards of Holiness Requirements.
"Its really sad that a Christian would call or consider our stipulations for free air time judgmental", Pastor David Wright, CEO of DoersTV said recently. "If you were to read our Standards of Holiness Requirements they are ideas that are straight from the Holy Bible, we as Christians are suppose to believe and live by, especially leaders and pastors of the church."
Hartford Institute for Religion Research estimates there are roughly 335,000 religious congregations in the United States, the majority Christian churches.
Free airtime for churches is rare among Christian TV networks. That is why many churches consider what DoersTV is offering a miracle.

Mega churches are able to afford thousands and some even millions of dollars per year paying for airtime on other Christian and secular TV channels, but for the average size church the cost is prohibitive.
"If you are truly preaching and living the Gospel, we believe money should not prevent you from spreading it. The Gospel is free and God has given us a vehicle to keep it that way for churches", said Pastor David.
There has been a problematic trend among some mega ministry pastors and leaders that has a growing population of Christians disgusted with the church. Teachings and doctrines which many Christians consider in error, lavish lifestyles of material things, and sexual immorality has taken its toll on many churches and Christian TV network's reputations.
"We don't believe churches should have to spend thousands and millions of dollars to broadcast a free Gospel. But we also don't believe in broadcasting pastors and leaders of churches for free, who are pimping their congregations and living lavish lifestyles of sin. There has to be a balance," said Pastor David.
