ATLANTA, Mar. 20 /Christian Newswire/ -- Gospel/Christian music fans will be able to vote nationwide on the best concert, the best festival, the best national radio show and the overall best fan-created website in a new set of awards created by the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) television network. Fan voting opens today for the "GMC Fan Awards" and will be conducted through Gospel Music Channel's website http://www.gospelmusicchannel.com/doves/fanvoting.
The voting will continue during GMC's exclusive live telecast of The 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards, Thursday, April 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Winners will be announced on-air that night, then featured on GospelMusicChannel.com. Fans will choose from a pre-determined list of nominees for "Concert of the Year," "Festival of the Year" and "Radio Show of the Year," while their submissions for "Fan Site of the Year"* will be culled into a list of final nominees.
