Award-winning adventure show featuring Chad and James Hampton has 'eternal goal'

NORTH BRANCH, Mich., Sept. 18, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- Twin Factor reality TV star James Hampton says hearing from God while sitting in his deer stand changed his life — and the life of his identical twin brother, Chad.

It was a vision that "only those on a quest for a hunting adventure could understand," he said, recalling how God spoke to him: "I want you to hunt for me like you hunt for deer, and I want you to teach other people to hunt for me."

It launched "Huntin' The Truth Ministries," a nonprofit organization that aims to "create and restore relationship with Jesus Christ through hunting and the outdoors," as well as give adventure opportunities to young people growing up without a father in the home.

The ministry has spread nationwide and internationally to evangelize the fatherless and physically challenged men, women, and youth through speaking engagements, its TV broadcast and deer, turkey and pheasant hunts, as well as fishing tournaments.

"Everyone is hunting for something in life," said Chad. "We hope people will see that hunting God is the only hunt that will give their lives eternal meaning and lasting fulfillment."

Now in its fifth season, the popular Twin Factor show — a combination of outdoor adventure and travel described as "Duck Dynasty mixed with Swamp People and a dash of Property Brothers just for garnish" — won the Top TV Show Award at the 2024 National Religious Broadcasters event in Nashville, TN, where the Hampton Brothers inked broadcast deals with TheDove TV Network, KCHF TV-11 and TCT Network that, in August, renewed the show for a second season. In each episode, the brothers enjoy a friendly rivalry as they encourage a growing global audience of children and adults.

A new Bible study based on the brothers' book "Secrets of the Hunt" is also in the works.
