SOMERSET, N.J., Aug. 26, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- The dfree® Financial Empowerment Celebration and 10th Anniversary Kick Off Event is Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, New Jersey. This milestone celebration is a free event, open to the public. dfree®, founded by Rev. Dr. DeForest B. There will be a host of surprises at the event including special remarks by the Honorable Ras Baraka, Mayor of Newark, New Jersey; a special performance by Grammy award-winning gospel singer, BeBe Winans, and the dfree® Mass Choir, under the direction of Rev. Dr. Lester W. Taylor, Jr., Senior Pastor of Community Baptist Church of Englewood, New Jersey; and much more.
