ATLANTA, Dec. 5 /Christian Newswire/ -- Two of gospel music's most exciting vocal groups will present their unique and soulful take on the holiday season with the world premiere of Gospel Music Channel's Christmas at Union Station: Take 6 and Trin-i-tee 5:7 this Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9:00 p.m. (ET).
Gospel Music Channel's Christmas at Union Station: Take 6 and Trin-i-tee 5:7 features each group bringing a distinct flare to the hour of seasonal and sacred Christmas music. Take 6 gives their a capella take on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Lamb of God," "Joy To The World," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Let it Snow" and "O Come All Ye Faithful." The trio of Trin-i-tee 5:7 lend their lovely vocals on "O Holy Night," "Winter Wonderland," "Silent Night," "The Christmas Song" and "This Christmas."
Artist/songwriter Matthew West hosts this exclusive new Christmas special, which will also be seen Sat. Dec. 8 at 10:00 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 a.m. 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. It can also be seen throughout the Christmas season.
The intimate and inspirational hour-long special was recorded at Nashville's Union Station - A Wyndham Historic Hotel which Gospel Music Channel turned into and elegant Christmas wonderland for the tapings. The shows were held in the hotel's lobby which is adorned with 65-foot, barrel-vaulted lobby ceilings featuring gold-leaf mirrors, 100-year-old, Tiffany-style stained glass, and rare bas-relief sculptures.
