NASHVILLE, Jan. 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- Popular Christian recording artist and worship leader Lindell Cooley will host a very special night of music and ministry Friday, January 15th, at 9:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the world's largest religious network and America's most watched faith channel.
Broadcast from Nashville, the program will focus on personal and national spiritual restoration, and will feature appearances from contemporary Christian recording artists John Ragsdale, Lenny LeBlanc, Susan Ashton, and Chuck Dennie.
Lindell Cooley first came to prominence in 1995 when a spiritual revival broke out at Brownsville Assembly of God Church in Pensacola, Florida. Cooley had recently become head of the church's music and worship ministry, and over the next several years, as an estimated 5 million people visited the church to be part of this profound move of God, they were deeply touched by Cooley's sensitive and anointed worship. During this time Cooley penned many powerful worship songs, including "I Need You More," which has been sung in countless churches and gatherings around the world.
Currently the pastor of Grace Church in Nashville, a work he pioneered in 2004, Cooley continues to travel the world ministering through his non-profit organization Music Missions International, a ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through music, ministry, and missions.
"More than ever before, there is a real need for people all over the world to be touched by the saving, life-transforming power of Jesus Christ," said Cooley. "And anointed worship music, birthed in the very throne room of heaven, has always been a major way that God touches the hearts of people."
The special program on TBN will focus on God's desire to bring spiritual restoration to individuals, families, communities, and nations through the blood of Jesus Christ. "Lindell Cooley's music and worship has been a powerful force for healing and renewal for many years," said Susan Zahn, an expert in Christian culture and media. "This special night of music and worship on TBN is sure to be powerful and life-changing for all who tune in."
The program will air on TBN on Friday, January 15th, at 9:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time), and will be re-broadcast on Monday, January 18th at 4:00pm (CST).
