WASHINGTON, July 5, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Southern Baptist Convention's Baptist Press is the largest Protestant publication in the world. It made this its headline on Wednesday, July 3, 2024: Space Force hymn writer inspired by 'awe and wonder of God,' stating, Jim Linzey "saw the future when in 2020 he wrote Creator of the Universe, a song of praise and prayer to God...." 'Creator of the Universe' has been adopted by the Church and the United States Space Force as the Space Force Hymn.
 
Not only the Southern Baptist Convention, but also Military officers and other churches praise the Space Force Hymn. Navy Petty Officer Heber Lima, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, pastors a Southern Baptist congregation, called The Rock International Church, when he is off duty in Meridian, Mississippi. He said, "The Space Force Hymn is an inspirational hymn which motivates me to worship the Creator of the universe, and is useful in any church service as a standard hymn."

Former Airman, Jonathan Sciano, USAF, stated, "I like 'Creator of the Universe,' and am glad that the Southern Baptist Convention and the Space Force have adopted it as the Space Force Hymn." And former US Marine, Robert Horvath, said, "'Creator of the Universe' is very fitting as the Space Force Hymn. I'm happy that churches and the Space Force adopted it."
 
Written in Coffeyville, Kansas, the Coffeyville Journal stated, "Coffeyville proudly serves as home of the United States Space Force Hymn, 'Creator of the Universe.'"
