BENNETTSVILLE, SC, July 27 /Christian Newswire/ -- Author Jo Ann Sherbine invites readers to meet Jesus and experience His life, death, burial and resurrection in a unique poetic retelling of portions of the New Testament. Eavesdropping on Jesus' Life covers the 33 years of Jesus' life on earth including His conversations, encounters and revivals as told throughout the Gospels and the Acts.

The loosely rhymed stanzas follow the Scripture passages designated for each account in Jesus' life. Sherbine provides an interesting way of looking at the stories of Jesus and His interaction with those who were present when He was on Earth. "Through the passages, I hope readers learn that Jesus is a very real person," said Sherbine. "I want them to realize that He lived among everyday people and is always there to listen, guide and provide solutions to their lives' questions and puzzles."

Eavesdropping on Jesus' Life will appeal to Christians seeking a different approach to familiar Biblical passages. Modeled after the King James version of the Bible, this collection of poetry is a wonderful read for Sunday school teachers, Bible study leaders, youth group counselors and pastors who would agree with Sherbine's message; Jesus is not only Christ, the Savior--but a friend.
