Georgia Justice: Journey to Faith is based on actual events that transpired in the early morning hours of June 28, 2008, after Jackie Carpenter's son (married, with a six-year-old little boy) met with a police deputy earlier in the day to receive advice regarding the numerous copper thefts he was having at his construction site. This advice led to a tragic accident - which left one man dead and Carpenter's son standing trial for felony murder only six months after he had accepted God's call into the ministry.
Jackie Carpenter's book, The Bridge: Between Cell Block A and a Miracle Is: Psalm 91, gives a full account of the tragedy, the trial and the triumph. And her book, Georgia Justice: Journey To Faith, gives a full account of "The Tears."
"Where do you go when money has no value? What do you do when your own innocence is not enough? I found the answer in Psalm 91 as it helped my son survive the 10 months of hell leading up to his Murder Trial and became Life Support for the rest of our family, for it was through Psalm 91 that we claimed and received our Miracle on April 16, 2009." -- Jackie Carpenter
