On Wednesday, September 23, a dozen Catholics rallied outside the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) headquarters in Washington DC. Their plea was for US Bishops -- individually -- to be clear and forceful in their condemnation of HR 3200, and the Senate amendments that clearly provide for child-killing by abortion.
A counter-protest was held by a left wing Catholic group, Catholics United, calling for the immediate passage of the Health Care Bill.
While there, the pro-lifers filmed a new street theatre skit, showing a Bishop receiving money -- then a gag -- from Obama, so that the bishop will not fight abortion in the health care bill.

Mr. Terry and others present spoke at length with Sister Mary Ann Walsh, Director of Media Relations for the USCCB. The discussions were polite, but showed just how out of touch the USCCB -- and Media Relations director -- are to current political realities.
