MADISON, Wis., July 27, 2024 /Christian Newswire/ -- In a performance, drag queens mocked the Last Supper at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. A group of 18 performers posed behind a long table with the Eiffel Tower and Seine River in the background.

At the center was a woman with a large silver headdress, resembling a halo as depicted in the paintings of Jesus at the Last Super. The ornately dressed woman smiled and made a heart shape with her hands. The others at the table started dancing. Also, there were other things in the opening ceremony that were alarming and beyond normal.

Steve McConkey, President of the worldwide sports ministry 4 WINDS USA, counters the LGBTQ sports movement. "I have warned people since 2003 about radicals using the International Olympic Committee to push radical agendas," states McConkey. "They are a part of the UN's 2030 Agenda which endorses globalism and radical agendas. Hopefully, people have had enough. The vast majority of the athletes, coaches, and officials do not support these agendas. I tell the athletes to concentrate on their competition and glorify God. Most of the athletes are young and have given up much to be in the Olympics. They are not equipped to handle the globalist powers, but we can."

In 2003, McConkey started fighting against the International Olympic Committee's transgender policies. He was the only one who stood against this publicly.

From there, the transgender movement spread to state high schools, the NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. McConkey has fought this agenda every step of the way.

After years of standing up, World Athletics (track and field) and World Aquatics (swimming), plus other sports, banned transgenders from participating at the international level. Twenty-five states have passed anti-transgender athlete bills.

On October 4, 2023, McConkey spoke at three hearings at the Wisconsin Capitol. Two bills were against transgender athletes on high school and college teams. The third bill was against transgender surgeries and hormone treatments for those under eighteen. The bills passed the Assembly and Senate, but Governor Evers vetoed them.

In June, Steve spent 10 days at the USA Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon. He encouraged Christians and shared the gospel with up to 1500 athletes, plus coaches and officials.

Steve recently opposed the International Olympic Committee for telling the media to not use certain words to address athletes, including the words "husband and wife."
