This double release will contain two of Robinson's latest work Blacks: From the Plantation to the Prison and Raising a Rebel Son: What's Really Wrong with Him and How to Tackle it! Robinson is traveling the nation wearing a prison jumpsuit and handcuffs during his book signings to symbolize the growing number of black men that are in the prisons and are in need of intervention. 

Devin Robinson witnessed some of his closest friends enter the prisons and cemeteries at an alarming rate. He writes to a total audience of over 800,000 and has written several other personal development books. His experiences comes from, not only having the conditioning of a runaway slave, but being arrested 5 times by age 17, being expelled from high school in his senior year and still being able to navigate his way to many successes, including earning a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business and currently working on a Doctorate in Business Administration, which he credits is acumen on human psychologies and behaviors. These experiences prompted him to use his writing talents to help young men arrive to success. Robinson, the great-great grandson of a runaway slave, partnered with longtime friend and ex-convict Vernon Roper, who served 13 years of a 15-year federal sentence for drug trafficking, to write Blacks: From the Plantation to the Prison. Roper accredits much of his prison survival to the support of Robinson's writings and ideologies.
