Ginny Emery is a creative artist who has expressed her love for the Lord in many ways, including throwing pottery, spinning and weaving, painting (primarily in watercolor), gardening, and writing. She graduated from Beloit College in 1961 with majors in English Literature and English Composition and later in life earned a MAT in Reading from National Louis University and a Masters degree in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois. Emery was born in Chicago, lived most of her life in Northern Illinois and currently resides in Michigan with her husband. Giving is her third published collection of poems.
