WASHINGTON, Penn., Oct. 6, 2020 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by Dan Corner of Evangelical Outreach:
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. HE WILL BE TORMENTED WITH BURNING SULFUR IN THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY ANGELS AND OF THE LAMB. AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT RISES FOR EVER AND EVER. THERE IS NO REST DAY OR NIGHT for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." This calls for patient endurance on the part of the SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus. (Rev 14:9-12)
Observations:
- That is a warning to all of mankind, including the "saints." That means the saints will still be here and therefore WILL NOT BE RAPTURED AWAY BEFORE, which is confirmed elsewhere (2 Thess. 2:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:52 cf. Rev. 11:15-18; Mark 13:24-27; etc.). To say those saints are 'tribulation saints', as pre trib rapture advocates do, can not be proven by scripture.
- IT IS SPIRITUALLY LETHAL TO RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST AND WILL RESULT IN SUCH GOING TO THE LAKE OF BURNING SULFUR. That is the chief single danger at that point—worshiping the beast and his image and receiving his mark. That single sin of taking the mark of the beast is so grave that anyone, including Christians, who buckle under the pressure of the day in order to "buy or sell" (Rev. 13:16,17), will be damned. That fact destroys the myth of eternal security, as do many other scriptures (James 5:19,20; Rom. 11:20-22; Luke 15:24; Rev. 2:10,11; Heb. 3:14; etc.).
- The saints alive then must PATIENTLY ENDURE AND REMAIN FAITHFUL TO JESUS, which will result in captivity and/or decapitation before Paradise (Rev. 13:10; 20:4).

As 1 + 1 = 2, the infamous mark of the beast is in plain sight and must not be taken. SPREAD THE WORD.
