Haiti Orphanage to Receive 10,000 Lbs of Critical Supplies from Adoptive Dad Waiting Adoption of Haitian Twins
Bethany Adoptive Father Leads Expedition from Miami to Haiti on Tuesday
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Jan. 18 /
Christian Newswire/ -- Facing a severe shortage of food and necessities as it recovers from the devastating earthquake that ravaged Haiti, local orphanage God's Littlest Angels (
www.glahaiti.org) will receive critical aid when 10,000 lbs of supplies are delivered on Tuesday, January 19. Aaron Ramsay, CFO of Messenger International (
www.messengerinternational.org), a ministry of John and Lisa Bevere, and an adoptive father waiting adoption finalization of twin 2-year-old boys from Haiti through Bethany Christian Services (
www.Bethany.org), will lead the delivery of food, water, diapers, formula and medical supplies to sustain the orphanage through the near future.
To aid children suffering in Haiti, as well as provide support to one of its own, Messenger International, a Colorado Springs-based ministry inspiring godliness for 20 years, has chartered a plane out of Miami to deliver the essential materials to God's Littlest Angels.
"Eager to welcome Berlency and Berlony to our family, we were as stunned as everyone else to hear of the earthquake," said Ramsay. "While we are grateful that our sons are alive, we realize that our boys and the 150+ other children in the orphanage do not have enough food and water, so it its imperative that we do what we can to keep them alive."
