ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Martin E. Ives earned his MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1954. He has served as a pastor for fifty years, in small and large churches. He is the author of four other books, including I Read the Bible, I'm Changed, and Jesus' Seven Words, Our One Word. Martin and Lois were married for thirty-five years, when the Lord took her home. They have six sons and daughters, with generations following. After several years in upstate New York, his principal service has been in the Tacoma, Washington, area. His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, and having a model train in the living room.
