NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Odyssey Networks has named award-winning journalist Sarah Pulliam Bailey to the position of Managing Editor, reporting to Maura Dunbar, Odyssey's Chief Content Officer. Bailey officially joins the Odyssey team on October 1, with responsibilities for the editorial direction of the Odyssey website (odysseynetworks.org), which features short-form video coverage of news and current issues reported through the lens of faith. Odyssey’s web content is syndicated to over 70 websites, including CNN, Huffington Post, and Patheos.
Previously Bailey was online editor for Christianity Today, the nation's premier magazine for evangelicals. She has interviewed many of America's political and religious leaders, including Barack Obama, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Condoleezza Rice, Beth Moore, and Max Lucado, among others. At Christianity Today, Bailey launched and coedited Her.meneutics, the magazine's popular site for women, and initiated and managed its social media efforts, helping make the magazine one of the most followed religious magazines on Twitter.
