TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 18, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Meet The Need Ministries, Inc. announces collaboration on ACT campaign with the endorsement of Unconditional the movie. The ACT campaign challenges moviegoers to become proactive in volunteering and mentoring children and youth in their communities. With many ministry partners on board across the nation for the September 21st release, Unconditional has become a catalyst to connect individuals with local serving opportunities.
The compelling drama, Unconditional starring Lynn Collins (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and The Lake House) and Michael Ealy (Think Like a Man, 2 Fast 2 Furious) is the debut production of Harbinger Media Partners, LLC. The Nashville, Tennessee produced movie was written and directed by Brent McCorkle and tells the story of how Samantha Crawford (Lynn Collins), a woman of faith and a children's book author seems to have it all until her world changes with the death of her husband.
Struggling with the lack of leads in the case, her faith and desire to live are diminished when an old childhood friend, Joe Bradford (Michael Ealy) enters back in her life. Joe, dying of Kidney disease, spends his last days serving fatherless children in an under-resourced community. Observing "Papa Joe's" tireless love for his "kids", Sam begins to find new purpose, but has difficulty letting go. www.unconditionalthemovie.com
"This movie sheds light on the tremendous amount of need all around us and the hope we can bring by sharing our time, resources and faith with others," said Jim Morgan, president and founder of Meet The Need www.meettheneed.org. "We decided to partner with the ACT campaign and endorse Unconditional because they share our heart to mobilize people to get involved."
Meet The Need and ACT will work together to equip local ministries and charitable organizations to more effectively collaborate and broadcast their needs to those who can help. Find more information about ACT by visiting unconditionalthemovie.com/act.
