Rita had no idea when she fell asleep on July 18th, 2013, that her life was about to change. By 9:00 a.m. she and her family were homeless after a devastating house fire.

But God revealed Himself – first, an unburned rosary was discovered in the family's melted van. Then the head of Our Lady was seen in the blackened rubble. But Rita's greatest joy was finding three unburned copies of her book, "Immodesty: Satan's Virtue," under two feet of charcoal and rubble.

Rita was working on the 3rd edition following its 2001 publication when the fire destroyed everything but the clothes on their backs. When online clients learned of the tragedy, they rallied around and commented on Rita's Facebook page when an Internet connection was available:

Her family is struggling to rebuild their business and relying on fundraising to finish their new home. They have a trust fund and a GoFundme page asking readers to share the news so clients will know that what the devil tried to destroy, God saved.
