Christian Newswire/ -- Texas author Richard Capriola was recently interviewed on American Family Radio and Twin Cities Christian Talk Radio about his new book "A Nation Under Judgment."
Capriola's new book explores our nation's social polices from a Scriptural point of view. It challenges readers to examine what it means for our nation to be One Nation Under God.
"A Nation Under Judgment" explores social issues such a hunger, poverty, income inequality, marriage and the environment, among others, from both Scripture and public policy. The book also examines the role of campaign contributions versus God's point of view in shaping our national agenda.
Early Christian reviews of "A Nation Under Judgment" have been impressive. Heather Randall, CEO of Christian Women Affiliate said the book is "well researched and Scripturally based." She added, "A Nation Under Judgment seeks to be a catalyst for inspiring believers toward deeper biblical thought regarding social policy."
Delores Liesner, a reviewer for Christian Women Affiliate, wrote "Every legislator, and every believer, apologetic, preacher and evangelist needs this resource on their shelves."
Secular reviews have also been impressive. Richard Blake, writing for Reader Views said "A Nation Under Judgment is a clarion call to the dangers of national pride, indifference, exploitation, current trends, and of the danger of a nation moving away from God's point of view."
'A Nation Under Judgment" is published by Mill City Press.
Richard Capriola spent many years as a hospital chaplain. He completed four years of Clinical Pastoral Education in preparation for becoming a chaplain. He has also lead a church based outreach ministry and has served as a mental health counselor at both a regional crisis center and a psychiatric hospital.Contact: Richard Capriola (217) 816-9193
