Christian Newswire/ -- The Redemptorists have released a pair of new eCourses on the Prayer of Gazing and Our Mother of Perpetual Help as part of the ongoing 150th Jubilee of the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Available at
bit.ly/MaryEcourse, the courses guide the participant to a deeper connection with Mary as a way to teach deeper love to her son Jesus.
The Prayer of Gazing teaches a contemplative prayer practice centered on the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Redemptorist Bro. Dan Korn, C.Ss.R. draws on over 20 years of mission preaching on the Icon, and shares his most significant insights. The course also teaches how to decipher the Icon's symbolism as a pathway to the Gospels. This course will unlock the door to a much deeper encounter with Our Mother that will never become routine.
Through the Lens of Mary teaches about learning to let go and trust in God like Mary when lives seem to spin beyond our control. Led by Kathy Coffey, award-winning writer for Liguorian magazine, and author of the acclaimed book Mary, this course offers practices and lessons from the life of Mary to help turn every day anxieties into a deep acceptance of God's will for us. Who could be a better model of profound acceptance than Mary, the Mother of God, who proclaimed in Luke "Thy Will Be Done!"
