BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- Brandi Swindell, nationally known pro-life leader, who is based in Boise, Idaho says Mr. Minnick's extremist pro-abortion views are out of step with the values of his Idaho constituents.
Ms. Swindell points out that:
- Congressman Minnick voted for legislation which authorized the funding of abortion overseas.
- He voted against the Stupak/Pitts Amendment which would have excluded abortion from President Obama's Health Care legislation.
- Walt Minnick does not oppose taxpayer funded abortions.
- He has accepted thousands of dollars in campaign funds from Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America. Both groups support late term Partial-Birth abortions, taxpayer funded abortions, and abortion on demand for the full 9 months of pregnancy.
Ms. Swindell will work with the pro-life and faith community of Idaho's First Congressional District to see that Walt Minnick is not re-elected this November 2.
Brandi Swindell comments,
"It is clear that Congressman Walt Minnick's radical and extremist pro-abortion views are out of step with the voters he represents from Idaho's First District.
"He has accepted thousands of dollars from groups that support the barbaric practice of Partial-Birth abortion and he even voted against an amendment that would have banned tax dollars from being used to pay for abortions under President Obama's Health Care legislation.
"The voters of Idaho need to understand that Walt Minnick wants you to pay for abortions with your tax dollars. This is not the kind of person we need to be representing our values in Washington, D.C.
"I am working with the pro-life and faith community to ensure that human rights and innocent life are honored and protected during this campaign season. Idaho needs to elect someone this November who will embrace the values of this state which include equality for pre-born children."
